One of Just June's founders is the wife of a Phoenix fireman. A few words from her below.

"As a 'fire wife', I understand and empathize with women who find themselves struggling to uphold household duties, kids' schedules, and their own careers without the help of their spouse most days. After the birth of my first child, I had to dramatically change my own schedule and expectations to fit the needs of not only my daughter, but myself as well. As a fitness and nutrition coach for almost ten years, I prided myself on my commitment to health and fitness. However, as many women know, after childbirth, this becomes exponentially more difficult to obtain. Throw in a lot of solo parenting, and it can be extremely challenging to navigate. 

Over the last five years, our family has grown and we now have three small children under the age of five. Our schedules have changed so much due to that alone, and I have had to re route my own expectations as a solo parent. It can be frustrating and overwhelming at times to try and maintain my own health, fitness, and sanity! This phase of life has challenged me in more ways than one and was really a driving force in creating Just June. I wanted women to FEEL and look their best. I know what it's like to feel like the frumpy housewife behind her husband and that's NOT what we are meant to be. As first responder and military wives, we are a strong, resilient, and we preserve regardless of our circumstances. We have to be! Our guys are out there serving our country and community and while we are proud, their sacrifices extend beyond just them; they extend throughout the entire family. 

I know what it's like to feel "lost" and alone and I work to navigate these life changes. But I have also found great comfort and support in hearing from other women in similar situations. I draw inspiration and motivation from these women. They were and continue to be a big part of why Just June was built. To help EVERY woman look and feel her best so she can continue to be the strong woman she has been called to be."
